Ingram beat man after man, and swerved his way over for a sensational try. Four more points came to Ohakea from a very pretty field goal by Simon Richardson. Ken Bailey was seen out as half-back owing to Graham Frccklington having an injured ankle. He got in a lot of good

work and stopped many hard forward rashes. The gamo between Rongotea and the Camp seniors, scheduled to be played at Ohakea, did not eventuate owing to the inability of the Camp to muster a full team. However, Rongotea went out to the Camp and played a practice game. The third grade game between Awahuri and Ohakea resulted in a win for Ohakea by 6 points to 3. G. Wiggins and Ellery got tho points for tho visitors. It is evident that the team which plays on its own ground has an advantage, for in every competition game between these teams the visiting side has been beaten.
