A civil list pension of £IOO has been granted to Sir Frank Benson, the Shakespearean actor, in recognition of his services to dramatic art. Others in in the list include the Rev. Edwin Collins, £6O in recognition of his contributions to the study of Jewish medieval philosophy; Sir William Schooling, for public servico in connection with the National Literary movement, £l2u; and Lady Stamford, in recognition, of her services to tho music of her husband, Sir Charles Stanford, £9O.
