A series of westerly depressions continues to move to the south of the belt of the high pressure extending over tho northern Tasman and northern New Zealand. Winds: Northerly to westerly strong at times about Cook and Foveaux Straits, otherwise moderate. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rough in Cook and Foveaux Straits, rainier rough south of Cape Egmont, elsewhere moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong north to west winds; moderate to rather Tough seas. Weather: Cloudy in districts with a westerly aspect with rain at times; heavy falls likely on parts of the west coast of the South Island; fair to fine in eastern districts. Temperatures still mild.
