Famous Battle Of Wits
Tho British RKO Radio Picture version of a play which has stood the test of time and which is as popular to-day as it was when first produced, coines to the Ko3y next Wednesday. This is the famous C. Watson Mill drama, “The Face at the Window,” in which the celebrated French bank robber, “The Wolf,” is defeated in his classic battle of waits with Paul Lc Gros, the famous Parisian detective. Raymond Masse} - , one of the bestknown stars and producers on the London stage, plays the role of Lc Gros, and he has been given tho support of an exceedingly strong cast composed, in the main, of London stage names—for there are at least five who have their names in lights when playing in a London theatre. The film holds the secret of the identity of “The Wolf” until the very last foot, the audience knowing no more than tho detective and groping along the various theories with him. This is perhaps the most successful manner of handling a mystery play, and for that reason alone wc do not propose to divulge the story.
