A year ago Halwell House, in Plymouth, was a. ruin. It had no roof; it had no tenant; it had no use in the world. The unemployed, men of Plymouth wero offered this ruin. They took it gladly and they did not take one penny with it. By the unemployeds’ own hard work they have put the house into perfect condition and now it is a centre for Test, recreation and instruction.
