BANK PRESIDENT AND INCOME TAX EVASION. NEW YORK, Juno 22. Charles E. Mitchell, former chairman of the National City Bank, was acquitted to-day by the jury on all counts of an indictment, which charged that he had deprived tho Govern-, ment in 1929 and 1930 of more than £850,000 dollars through income tax evasion. The jury was out for 24 hours.
