DE VALERA MAY ABOLISH SENATE United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Received Wednesday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, Juno 21. For the second time tho Constitutional amendment Bill reducing the period of the Senate’s powers to delay legislation from 18 to three months, has been introduced by President <ie Valera who declared that the Benato which merely duplicated the Dail wasted public money amounting to £47,000 a year. It should represent vocational groups numbering about o 0 experts. He added that if the present Bill were rejected more drastic legislation might be rushed through. This may imply the abolition, of the Senate. Mr. Fitzgerald taunted President do Valera with desiring a dictatorship.
