Easter Wedding

ANDERSON—EASTON An Easter wedding of much interest took place in All Saints’ Church, Foxton, on the evening of Monday when Ina Mary, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Easton, of Norbiton road, was united to William, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, of Wellington. Tho church was prettily decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride, while tho officiating minister was tho Rev. G. A. Young. Miss Nancy Robinson presided at the organ. The bride, who was charmingly attired in an ankle-length frock of white lace with gored skirt over satin and coatco with flared sleeves and wearing a beautifully embroidered veil and white embossed velvet shoes with stockings to tone, ontered the church on the arm of her father, carrying a shower bouquet of pink and white flowers. Attending her as bridesmaid was Miss Ruby King wearing a close-fitting frock of salmon pink satin with fully flared skirt with hand-mado cyclamen flowers and silver leaves appliqued on bodice and skirt. She wore a silver cap with pink tullo draped round her shoulders and pink and silver shoes with stockings to tone, and carried a shower bouquet of pink flowers with salmon pink streamers.

Mr. L. Mattar carried out the duties of best man and as the happy eouple left the church the brid6 was presented with a good-luck horseshoe by little Miss Dell Spring. Subsequently a reception was held at which Mrs. Easton, who was attired in a frock of black georgette with lace vest and sleeves and black felt hat and shoes and stockings to tone, received a number of relatives and friends. Mrs. Easton also carried a pretty bouquet of autumn tonings. Mrs. Anderson, mother of the bridegroom, wore brown marocain and a brown straw hat with tangerine trimmings and shoes and stockings to tone. Mrs. Seabury, grandmother of the bride, who carried a shower bouquet of mauvo tonings, wore a frock of black celanese.

After tho usual felicitous speeches were made and customary toasts had been honoured, the happy couple left on their honeymoon, the bride being attired in a black costume with an apricotcoloured blouse with a black hat relieved with apricot-coloured trimmings. She also wore black shoes, gunmotalcoloured stockings aud a fur stole, the latter a gift from tho bridegroom. The bridegroom’s present to tho bridesmaid was a gold armlet.
