BILL OVERWHELMINGLY DEFEATED United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Received Wednesday, 10.20 p.m. , OTTAWA, April 18. The Bill to legalise hospital sweep-stake-s, recently passed by the Senate, was killed in the Canadian House of Commons on Tuesday night on a vote by 77 to 15.
