Feilding Golf Club

.FIRST BOGEY MATCH. Ou Saturday afternoon members of the Feilding Golf Club took part, in the first bogey match of the new season. The links, after the rain earlier in the week, were in improved condition and the greens showed signs of recovering after tho severe dry spell. Tho best card returned in the A grade was that of L. M. Giesen, all square, while L. F. Gray was 2 up in. the B grade contest. The cards returned were as follows: — A Grade. L. M. Giesen, all square. J. B. Duthie, 1 down. F. P. Fawcett, 2 down. ■ S. A. Farkes, 4 down. B Grade. 1- F. Gray, 2 up. N. Gibsonc, 1 up. V. Pearson, 4 down. G. Phillips, 5 down, J. M. Campbell, 5 down. THE LADIES’ CLUB. The Feilding Ladies’ Golf Club will open its season to-morrow with a Canadian foursome, players to arrange their own partuers.
