Mrs Veale, of Government House, Wellington, who has been. with. Mrs Arthur Elworthy, Holme Station, Timaru, is at present at the Horadtage. WOMEN'S W. Uvcic. ’ctflsdup. Miss Edith Eoso, of Carnarvon, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. N. Kendall, is now an inmate of the Hamilton hospital with appondicitis. Miss Margaret Sommerville, of Auckland, is staying in London with Professor and Mrs John Haldane. She is attending lectures on education, and will take Progessor Gilbert Murray's course on Greek literature at Oxford. The many friends of Mrs Strode Penny, of Waldcgravo Street, will be pleased to learn that sho has been discharged from hospital and is now convalescing at the residence of her son, Mr Campbell Penny, Wood Stroet. Miss Milrnan, of Wiltshire, England, arrived by tho Wanganclla this week on a visit to relatives in the Dominion. She is at present staying with her niece, Mrs C. Dalgcty, at Mangaweka, and will later visit anothor niece, Mrs Ronald Abraham, 'l’e Awe Awe Street, Palmerston North.
