Family's Lucky Escape From Burning House
FATHER AWAY FROM HOME Per Press Association MASTERTON, Last Night. _ seven-roomed residence at finui, owned and occupied by Mr. R. J. Stevenson, was destroyed by fire early this morning. Mr. Stevenson was away from home and his wife and family had a lucky escape for tho building was a mass of flames when they awoke and they just managed to get out in their night attire. Nothing was saved and the back portion of an adjacent store was also burnt.
