N.Z. FARMERS’ REPORT.
N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., Feilding, report on the Feilding sale. The demand for good breeding ewes continues firm and prices , were fully up to late rates. Fat sheep and lambs, of which there was a heavy yarding, were well competed for, but prices showed a. slight drop. Cow and heifer beef was slow of sale and prices in buyers’ favour. Ctore cattle were not in demand and sales difficult to make. Quotations:. —Prime, fat. b.f* lafflfeu

Cattle: Light beef heifers, W 5s to £2 12s; fat cows, £2 8s to £3 2s 6d; forward heifers, 30s to 38s 6d; 2year P.A. heifers, £2 to £2 ss; forward cows, 25s to 365; potters, 17s to 20s; veal calves, 265; P.A. cows and calves, 35s 6d; dairy heifers, r.w.b., £2 17s 6d; light beef bullocks, £4 7s; forward bullocks, £3 Is to £3 10s.
