Free Ambulance Has Busy Day

ACCIDENT CASES ATTENDED

The Palmerston North Free Ambulance had a busy day on Saturday, when it attended a total of live cases. Three of these were of a medical nature, but the ambulance was also summoned to attend two accident cases. Joseph Ncame, of Kari Kari road, Feilding, a motor-cyclist, was thrown from his machine at the Awahuri hotel corner. He sustained severe injuries to one leg and after receiving first aid was convoyed to tho Public Hospital. His condition last night was reported satisfactory. Ben Kapca, a Maori residing in Rangiotu, was cycling home on Saturday evening when his cycle lamp went out, and ho had the misfortune to collide with a culvert. He was removed to tho hospital by the ambulance service suffering from an. injured shoulder. Ho was subsequently discharged.
