Another of the scries of old-time dances, conducted by the Central School Ladies’ Committee, was held at the school last evening, 100 couples being present and dancing to music supplied by Loveday’s orchestra. Mr. A. Gordon acted as .M.C., an extra being supplied by Mr. C. Penny. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Stringer and Mr. L. Rosvcli and the lucky spot by Miss McCarthy and Mr. Townsend. A delightful supper was dispensed by the ladies' committee. It was decided that the next dance be held on March 24.
