Heavy Rain Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The depression still covers the Eastern Tasman Sea and New Zealand, the low centre to-day being located over Otago. An extensive anti-cyclone is situated over Eastern Australia and the Western Tasman.
Winds: Moderate to strong northerly of gale force at place's in and north of Cook Strait, backing to southerly soon in tho southern half of the South Island, and generally after about 24 hours.
Seas (N.Z. waters); Eather rough to rough. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong northerly winds, backing to southerlies; seas rough. Weather: Unsettled and cloudy, with rain generally and further heavy falls about Cook Strait and in Westland and Otago.
