Tennis Party for a Bride-elect

Miss Esther Whitehead, of “Thistledene,” Cunninghams, whose marriage is shortly to take place, was entertained on Saturday afternoon at a tennis party by Miss Kitty McLean and a number of other girl friends. The party was a very jolly ono and was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. McLean, vVaituna. Each of those present bestowed upon the guest of honour a gift for 'her futuro homo and the assortment received included some very pretty as well as useful household accessories. Tho day being pleasantly sunny and warm, afternoon tea was enjoyed upon the verandah.
