SUPPORT FOR GOVERNMENT IN VITED

MEETING IN FEILDING

A .special meeting of farmers is called for to-morrow afternoon in Foilding for the purpose of considering resolutions supporting tho Government’s action in raising the exchange. As tliQGovernment’s policy in this matter lias been in tho direction of affording some relief to primary producers, the Farmers’ Union feels that farmers generally should show their appreciation by backing up tho Government. The meeting at Feilding is being called by the local branch of the Farmers’ Union, and it is confidently expected that all farmers, realising the serious situation facing the country, will make every effort to attend. The chair will bo taken at 2.30 p.m.
