Lodge Meeting at Tokomaru

The fortnightly meeting of the Lind' Lodge, Tokomaru, was held in the hail on Wednesday, January 25. The meeting was presided over by Grand Arch Bro. Wilton, and quite a large attendance was recorded. It was decided during business matters to hold tho Druids’ picnic on Sunday, February 12. Lind Lodge members hope that the members of other lodges will turn up in their usual manner to make the function a success. After tho local lodge business had been concluded, the Royal Arch chapter meeting was held, visitors being present from Acorn, Oroua, and Bro. Uro, of the Hawera Lodgo. During the evening much interest was taken in five-minute speeches on Christmas experiences. A very delectable supper was provided by tho sisters, and when everybody had enjoyed this interlude, dancing was indulged in, the music for dancing being supplied by Bro. Lloyd of tho Acorn Lodge.
