CUTTING HAIR.
A good shape to the head is the first essential in hair cutting. The hair itself has become a secondary matter. Points ■where attention is most necessary are at the back of the ears and on the nape of the neck, both places usually providing great thickness of hair. Attention must be paid to the matter of length, and irregularities can be trimmed afterwards. If hair is curled,
whether scientifically or not, this is more easy of accomplishment if it is well thinned from the roots. Natural haih is never cut off squarely, and real curls taper off as the good barber tries to induce those which are not natural to do. A hair cut once every six months by a Teally skilled man soon regulates amateur efforts
