Mr. P. Galloway has returned to Tolcomaru after a visit to Wellington.
Dr. Cyril King returned from tne South yesterday after a visit to tho Franz Josef Glacier.
Tho many friends of Mr. C. J. Pago, of Palmerston North, will regrot to learn that ho has been compelled to enter hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cohen wore the guests of the Citizens’ Lunch Club yesterday, and were accorded a hearty welcome by all present.
At the request of a deputation yesterday the Mayor, Mr. It. S. Black, has consented again to contest tho Mayoralty of Dunedin at the forthcoming election.
Guests at the Hotel St. George, Tangiinoana, during the week-end included Messrs. P. Lofts, A. Webby (Carnarvon), G. Malcolmson (Fcilding), Mr. and Mrs. F. Hendle (Foilding), and Mr. Ken Waters (Wellington).
