At the wool sales 9326 bales were offered, including 3261 from Now Zealand, and approximately 7640 wore sold. There was strong general com--potition. New Zealand realisations: Scoured merino, H. M. Oxford, top prico 17d, average 161 d; greasy crossbred, Hunthill, top price 94d, average 7§d. PRICES IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, Jan. 26. The wool prices current at this week’s market were as follow: Superior merino fleece, best to 21Jd; greasy merino best, 15d to 17d; good, 13d to 14d; average, lid to 12d; light, seedy or burry skirts, good, Hid to 12id; avorage, lOd to lid; inferior, 64d to 94-d; lambs, best to 15d; fine comebacks to 13-Jd.
Tbe Sydney brokers report that the average for the week’s sales was £ll 14s 5d per bale or 9d per pound.
