MAYOR VISITS WELLINGTON The Mayor (Mr. A. E. Mansford) returned by tho Limited last evening from a visit to Wellington where he conferred with tho Minister of Employment (Hon. A. Hamilton)- and the Unemployment Board. Ho placed the position of Palmerston North relief workers before both and received an assurance that the matter would be looked, into and a reply forwarded today through Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P. Mr. Mansford stated last night that ho was hopeful that the position would be improved as a result of this personal interview.
