Joan Bennett Gets “Tough”
Getting completely away from the society roles she has been enacting so successfully, Joan Bennett characterises the title role in “Wild Girl,” the Fox Film offering in New Zealand . Her portrayal of a mad-cap mountain girl in a Californian mining camp during the Vigilante era is said to be the most * vivid and arersting performance of her career. Charles Farrell and Ralph Bellamy share the masculine honours in this Bret Harte romance.
