Pohangina Valley
From Our Own Correspondent,
A team representing Alt. Richards visited Pohangina on Saturday to compete in a friendly tennis match against Pohangina B team. Only six sets wero completed, however, as a heavy shower made tire courts unfit for play and the match had to be postponed. Those playing for Alt. Richards were Misses A. Roberts, G. Wingate, AI. Wingate, E. Wingate, B. Stevens and E. Roberts and Messrs F. Roberts, A. Roberts, V. Port, L. Port, L. Duffy, J. Stevens and J. Wingate. Players for. Pohangind were Airs. N. Aloar arid Alisses Af. Harland, AI. Smart, D. Watson, Af. Aladdison and R. Klink and Alessrs R. Smart, W. Smart, A. Shadbolt, 11. Aloar, N. Aloar and T. Harland.
Personal. Airs. Stanton, of Pohangina, is at present the guest of her daughter, Mrs. R. Shaw, South Avondale, Auckland. Airs. R. J. Aliers, Apiti, is visiting her parents, Mr. and M?s. Tews, Pohangina. Air. and Mrs. A. Lutnley, Otaki, are visiting Pohangina and are tho guests of Mrs. Klink, senr.
