A. G. F. FOSS’ NARROW CALL Per Pres 3 Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Dominion croquet, is now drawing to a close. Pine weathor has been experienced almost right throughout the tourney. Mrs. Seaudrett, who was showing a great deal of promise, sprained her wrist and, therefore, forfeits her position in the third round of each life in the women’s championship. A close finish was recorded in the second round of the open championship when A. G. E. Ross beat Mrs. Clark oy two points in each gameDetailed results were:— Women’s Championship (First Life.) Second round: Mrs. Keys beat Mrs. Bartlett, 26 —22. Third round: Mrs. Watkins beat Mrs. Brass, 26—19; Mrs. Keys ueat Mrs. Scandrett by default. Semi-finals: Mrs. Watkins' beat Mrs. Gambril,227;6 —7; Mrs. Caldow beat Mrs. Keys, 26—0. Final: Mrs. Caldow won by two games to one. (Second Life.) Third round: Mrs. Gambrill beat Mrs. Tingoy, 26—3; Mrs. Watkins beat Mrs. Scandrett by default. Championship Doubles. Semi-final: Captain Hartnel and Mrs. Henderson boat E. Managk and Mrs. Bartlett, 26 —18. Final: H. P. Stratton and Mrs. Palmer beat Captain Hartnell and Mrs. Henderson. Open Championship. First round: Mrs. Clark beat Mrs. Kibblewhite. Second Tound: A. G. F. Ross beat Mrs. Clark, 26—24, 26—24. Handicap Singles. Final: Mrs. Kibblewhite beat Mrs. Bassett, 26—24. Neville Singles. Final: Mrs. E. Managk beat Mrs. Lees, 26 —16, 26—21.
