FIRST MEETING AT FEILDING
The entries for the first whippet races to be held in Feilding on Monday are as follow: Palmer handicap, 175 yards: Roamer 10yds., Mistress Mixie 11, Foreign Queen 12, Delafield 10, The Mikado 15, Royal Piper 17, Goldlike 17. This race should be a very close finish. Tho Na-pier-owned Royal Piper, also tho ralmerstou North-owned Foreign Queen should run well. Novice puppy race, 150 yards, all from scratch: Four Bells, Eight Bells, Kilstar, Sasanof, Gold Bag, Glen Oroua, Juno Bell, Joie De Val, Lady Gay, Tea Bell pup. The Palmerston North-own-er Four Bells should run well in this race, with the Feildiug-owned Joie De Val and Lady Gay close up. Feilding Cup, 175 yards: Gold Dust ser., Roamer 10yds., Foreign Queen 12, Romance 12, Flying Tom 14, Gold Field 13, Flying Imp 14, Royal Piper 17, Glentruin 17. This should be the best race of the day. The Palmerston Northowned Goldfield, with the Napior-own-ed Flying Imp in the running. Anniversary Handicap, 175 yards: Post entry.
