Prison Escapee’s Offences
COMMITTED FOE SENTENCE FOR FORGERY AND THEFTS. Per Press Association. AYELLINGTON, Dec. 21. Frederick AVilliam Schluter, (42). engineer, who escaped from Mount Eden early this year, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, to forging and uttering a cheque for £9O, and to two charges of theft, the offences having been committced while he was at liberty. lie was committed for sentence. On a charge of being an incorrigible rogue, in that lie escaped from Mount lhieii, lie was remanded to Auckland. For two offences against the Anns -Ac!, in connection with unregistered rides, committed in 1929, he was convicted and discharged.
