Dozens of people witnessed tho rescue of a litle girl, Malsa Callow, from drowning at Ruahcutters Bay by a champion Alsation dog. The owner of the dog was about to dive in, when it leaped over his head, swam to the struggling girl, gripped her clothing at tho back of the neck, and brought her ashore, holding the girl’s head out of the water.
