Orange Lodge Happy Party for Children

There was a large attendance at the party given by Brothers and Sisters of Loyal Orange Lodges IS and 34 for members’ children in the Orango Hall Lombard Street on Saturday afternoon. Father Christmas was present and with paper hats, which were given to each child, games, items, tea and presents an enjoyable afternoon was spent, balloons and bags of sweets also being distributed. Parents and friends were entertained to afternoon tea.

Items were given by Miss Grace Taylor, Miss Joan Wollerman, Susanne and Billie Cater and a trio by Noeline Scadden, Yvonne Nicholson and Paul Omundsen. The arrangements were well carried out by the ladies’ committee, comprising Miss Newman, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Buddcn, Mrs Currin, Mrs Chittenden, Mrs Twigge, Mrs Ivobcrstein and Mrs Coker.
