More Men Taken on At Longburn Works
“EVERYTHING ENTIRELY SATISFACTORY"’ ’ A farther 24 non-union slaughtermen were taken on at the Longburn freezing works yesterday, bringing the total to 60 in this section. In all, 120 free labourers arc now employed. “The men are making wonderful progress and everything is entirely satisfactory, " stated Mr. J. T. Rogorson, the manager of the works to a Times reporter yesterday. “After Christmas wo will be up to normal killing, ’ ’ he added.
