CHILD FALLS FROM PLANK BRIDGE. Per Press Association. ROTORUA, Nov. IS. An eigkteen-months-old child, Selwyn Heywood, son of Mr and Mrs S. R. Heywood, was drowned on Thursday afternoon at Ngakuru. .The child was apparently playing beside a creek near his parents’ home and endeavoured to cross a plank bridge spanning the water.
