An interesting section of the work of the Girl Guide Association in New Zealand is that of the Post Guides, of whom Mrs. Huntington, of Wellington, is the head. This is the work carried out in connection with invalid Girl Guides, of whom there wero now 97. Monthly letters, stated Mrs. Huntington at. a conference in Auckland this week, were circulated by post captains for Post Guides, and the Wellington Braille Club now made up four company magazines for blind Post Rangers every month. Last year scrap books and toys were sent away by the Post Guides to tho hospitals at Christmas, while. 300 toys had been sent to backblocks children. Money had also boon collected to buy 240 square feet of English land for tho Woodlands permanent camp near Farnham, England. Post Guidos had competed for the Louisson Shield for knitting and needlework.
