A motion placing on Tecord appreciation of the services of Mr. F. A. Dunstall, late postmaster at Kimbolton, in connection with the various unemployment schemes, was carried at Wednesday’s meeting of the Kiwitea County Council. At a meeting of the Feilding Golf' Club committee last evening it was decided to conduct a mixed Canadian foursome competition on closing day, November 26. Play will bo over 16 holes, the second and 11th. holes being omitted. To-morrow afternoon the Oroua Bowling Club will be at home to visitors from the Pahiatua Club.
