Duncan, a Highly qualified balneologist, is in charge of the spa, and he has an expert, staff for the various treatments. Each case is carefully diagnosod and receives special attention in accordance with the individual need. Separate establishments, containing the most modern apparatus of sprays, douches, hot steam, etc., aro available for wet massage and treatments of the Aix-Vichy type. The massage rooms aro fitted with the latest installations of electrical equipment —Bristowe tables, diathermy, high frequcucy, Bcrgonio chair, X-ray, Schnco baths, Grevillo hot air, and other apparatus for carrying out the most up-to-date methods of electrical therapeutic treatments.

Rotorua has also some wonder-work-ing mud. “The most efficacious effects of mud treatments have- been maul fested iu cases of skin conditions," remarked Hr.
