Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone still covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand, while a shallow depression has been forming over south-eastern Australia. Winds: Light to moderate and variable, with southerlies predominating at first, but shortly winds tending northerly. , Seas (New Zealand waters): Smooth to moderate.

Eastern Tasman Sea: Light and variable winds, but soon becoming northerly or north-easterly; seas smooth to moderate. Weather: A continuance of fine weather may be expected, with temperatures becoming warmer later. However, haze and cloud will bo increasing generally.
