CHARGES AGAINST NEWSPAPER MEN.

United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, Nov. 15. In the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Macrossan withdrew from the jury the case in which the Crown proceeded against Martin Reading, editor of the Brisbane Telegraph on a charge . of having advisedly published a seditious writing. Mr Justice Macrossan said he would not allow a case to go to a jury which would be bound to acquit defendant. Mr Reading was discharged. A nolle prosequi was entered in the case of George Melton, publisher of the paper, who had been similarly charged.
