Collier Plays Sweetheart To Miss Hopkins

William Collier, Jr., one of the screen’s most popular young dramatic actors, plays a loading role Miriam Hopkins and Jack Oakie in Paramount’s "Dancers in the Dark," which comes to ,the Kosy theatre today. Collier’s role is that of a musician playing in an orchestra headed by Oakio. Miss Hopkins is a hostess in tho dance hall where they play. "Dancers in Iho Dark," marked Collier’s •first Paramount appearance since "A Night of Mystery,” a silent film with Adolphe Menjou and Evelyn Brent. He has been unusually busy in the past year, having given outstanding performances in "Street Scene," "Little Caesar," "Cimarron,” "Politics," "The Penthouse Muidcr," and "Flop House. ”
