Results of Games at Yesterday’s Hockey

Hockey enthusiasts spent a busy day yesterday when several competition games wore decided. The weather was fine but the grounds were heavy. At Bongotca the home team met the Bunnythorpo ladies, the visitors winning by three goals to one. Miss Dottchcr scored for the losers, Miss Ransom netting all for Bunnythorpo. Messrs M. Levy and A. C. Eades were the referees. High School Old Girls accounted for the High School representatives by three goals to nil, Mr. 11. Byers holding the whistle. Winning by eight goals to one, C. and C. ladies’ A team registered an easy win against C and C. B, The referee was Mr. Mitchell. Playing only eight men throughout, the C. 0.8. men managed to draw two all against Phoenix, an interesting match which was controlled by Messrs Wilson and Crump. In the other games Broadway B beat Combined Services I—o, and Broadway A beat Massey College 3—o.
