Distress in Feilding

PADDY’S MARKET ON FRIDA r

Tho provision of food supplies for the needy of Feilding depends largely on the resources of the local Relief of Distress Committee, which at tho moment finds-its cash resources at a very low ebb. Help Is required, and to this end it is proposed to hold a Paddy’s market on Friday.

An appeal is made to all persons who have cast-off furniture, household utensils, tools, or any other articles for which they have no further use. These will be collected at a central depot and sold for a nominal figure to those able to pay.

If you can bring your article in to the depot tho committee will be thankful. If unable to do so, a Ting to the chairman, phone 91, the district nurse, phone 696, Mr. T. Collins, phone 99, or the hon. secretary, phone 400, will enable arrangements to be made to col--lcct them.
