From Our Own Correspondent. On Friday evening .one of the popular fortnightly dances was held in Mr. J. Walker’s shed at Aratika. There was a large attendance, and a most enjoyable time was spent. During the evening an interesting competition was held, the winners being Mrs. G. P. Burr and Mr, J. Dawson, while a spot waltz was won by Miss Hansen and Mr. B. Burr. The prizes were presented by Mr. L. Hansen and Mr. W. O. Caldwell. Spirited music was rendered by Mr. A. Hyde, extras being played by Mr. G. P. Burr. Mr. N. Walker performed tha duties of M.C
