Manawatu Miniature Rifle Association
The first round of the Manawatu Miniature Rifle Association and Cliff® and Remington Cup matches took place on Mfly 13. The results of the first matches are very satisfactory considering the early start that has been made this year. The following are the results:— Northern Section. A grade: Ohakea 1081 beat .Bunnythorpe 1070; Sandon v. Awahuri, result not to hand; Bulls a bye. B grade: Ohakea 799 boat Bunnythorpe 787; Bulls, a bye. Southern Section. ( A grade: Aokautere 1045 drew with Longburn 1045; Oroua Downs 1038 beat Tokomaru 1003; .Moutoa, a bye. B grade: Aokautere 771 beat Longbum 737; Oroua Downs 716 beat Tokomaru 705; Mioutoa, a bye.
