DEATH ROLL MOUNTING Received Friday, 9.50 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 20. There are no signs of an abatement of Bombay’s communal warfare. The city mill areas are paralysed. Thousands of Hindu workers, anxious. to take revenge for tho Moslem atrocities in the city itself, are now engaged in guerilla tactics against all Moslem suburbs. The police and military aro now firing at sight of combatants, but their task is difficult. Last night the casualties recorded were 132 killed and 1-100 seriously injured. More Troops Called Out Eecoived Friday, Midnight. CALCUTTA, May 20. The Bombay Light Horso and the auxiliary force of tho artillery hav6 been called out to aid the troops and police in coping with the rioters. Miss Madeline Slade, the Gandhi devotee, has been released on tho completion of her three months’ sentence for participating in civil disobedience. She was refused permission to interview Gandhi in tho Poona gaol.
