COLOUR SENSE LIKE MAN Dr S. Zuckerman, the anatomist, demonstrated to a meeting of the j °o logical Society of London recently how monkeys have a real colour sense like San and do not like the dog-live in a black-and-white world. . Clara, a small baboon, the heroine of many experiments, made her bow to a gathering of famous scientists, and then turned a businesslike face to * set of five boxes at the end of a table. Four of the boxes were locked and were grev. Box live was not locked. It concealed a banana and displayed a red light. The red light and the banana were moved scores of times, Clara being blindfolded during the changes. But not once did she go to a grey box.
