Leo Carrillo, famous stage star, is one cf the most accomplished polo players in America. The versatile Leo also has published poetry and history, has been a successful cartoonist, and is an authority on Spanish dishes. Carrillo recently published a volume of verse titled ‘‘Western Breezes,” and is now at work on a romantic history of his native state, California. He classifies his writing as his hobby, not his ambition.
