From Our Own Correspondent. • Miss C. Casscy left on {Saturday for a holiday at Timaru where she will attend, as bridesmaid, the wedding of her sister. Mr. J. Greenhow and the, Misses Greenhow, of Huwinui, left by car on Monday on route for a, holiday in tlie South Island.
Mr. IV. Greenhow, of Hiwinui, has been re-nominated for his old position on tho Orotia County Council. The weekly shoot of tho Miniature Rifle Club was held on Monday evening. There was a fair attendance of marksmen and some fairly good targets resulted. Tho scores were as follow: — IV. Salmon, 08—07—135; E, Mitchell, 07—07—134; 11. Hughes, 04—08—132; J.
