(Wellington South), addressed a largely attended and orderly public meeting, presided over by the Mayer, in the Municipal Theatre last night They dealt with the economic and gein, eral political situation. No reference was made to the recent unfortunate happenings, but the Government was keenly criticised for the wages cut, banking policy, taxation, and extravagance. The Press was specially criticised by Mr McKeen.
