Reduction in Bank Rate
IMPROVEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL POSITION. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, LONDON, Feb. IS. The Bank rate is now five per cent. The reduction is hailed with widespread satisfaction. Considered in conjunction with tho repayment of French and American credits, it is an indication of a welcome improvement in the international financial position.
