Notable Hereditary Longevity

Mr. Percy V. Lee writes to the London “Daily Telegraph”: “I have a portrait of my great-great-great-grand-mother, born in London in 1689, which was ,taken in her hundred and fifth year. Her daughter, who was married ou tho day King George 111. married Queen Charlotte, had 20 children. My grandfather, ,who ,as a little boy, visited Windsor Castle with his father, remembered King Georgo 111. patting his cheek and calling him a ‘pretty boy.' My great-great-grandmother attained tho age of 100, my great-grandfather 90, my great-grandmother 94, and my grandfather 83. An aunt recently lived to bo 90, and another 86, whilst two over 80 are still enjoying good health and activity. The average life represented by fifteen of my ancestors is 80 years."”
