Set down for hearing before the Hon. Mr. Justice McGregor at the Palmerston North Supreme Court yesterday morning was a case wherein David O’Reilly, of Palmerston North, plumber, procecdc-i. against George Edgar Trevor, also of Palmerston North, builder, seeking a release from a bank guarantee and the payment by defendant to tho bank of a sum owing. On the case being mentioned, Mr. Grant, for defendant, intimated that an arrangement had been made for settlement on the lines of the claim, and his Honour made an order accordingly, with £2l costs and other disbursements to plaintiff, for whom Mr. Ongley appeared. v
